The quickest and easiest way to insulate a cargo trailer

Insulating an old addition

This was an addition done years ago that was not insulated very well and proved to be failing (attic rain etc). A closed cell application at minimum two inch depth was applied to the backside of the drywall from the roof. After replacing some drywall we sprayed right over all the ceiling drywall and the fibreglass batts were relaxed overtop for a hybrid attic insulation system.

It’s definitely been a busier season for cargo vans. Lots of trades have been updating their vehicles and setting them up right by spray foaming the back end right at the beginning.

Spray foaming a 400 barrel tank!

Here at Insul-Foam we recently worked on a 400 barrel tank project for one of our customers. We spray foamed the barrel at a three inch depth and then coated it with black Tankcoat. Check out the video and still images below.

Unique project for specialty welding shop

The images below show an interesting little job we recently did for a specialty welding shop out of High River, Alberta. They do some very unique projects and this one was one of those. Applying a one inch application to these aluminum panels was the goal here. It’s very important to have a good pattern on the gun and have the right temperature and pressure dialed in.

Certified spray foam/containment applications

Insul-Foam Services provides spill safety and containment of chemicals preventing leakage and environmental contamination.

Polyurethane elastomeric linings provide excellent performance in immersion service while being more versatile than conventional sheet systems.
